2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website or completing enrolment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and that you agree to comply with these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access the website or proceed with enrolment.
3. Service Description
Tunas AI provides online courses in AI development, currently comprising three tracks: Starting Out with AI and Python (Track 01), Machine Learning Practice (Track 02), and Deep Learning Loft (Track 03). Courses are delivered online and are accessible to learners in Malaysia and internationally.
We reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, and instructors where necessary. Material changes that affect enrolled learners will be communicated by email with reasonable notice.
4. Course Access and Accounts
Upon enrolment confirmation, you will receive access credentials for the course platform. You are responsible for keeping these credentials secure. Access is personal and non-transferable — you may not share your login with others or permit others to participate in your place.
We may suspend access if we believe credentials are being misused or if you are in breach of this Agreement.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Engage respectfully with instructors, staff, and other learners
- Submit your own original work for project assessments
- Not reproduce or distribute course content beyond personal study use
- Not use the course platform for commercial purposes or to promote other services
- Not engage in behaviour that disrupts the learning environment for others
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, and designs are the intellectual property of Tunas AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access content for personal study during the course period.
You retain ownership of original work you produce during the course. By submitting project work for feedback, you grant Tunas AI a limited licence to review and comment on that work for educational purposes.
7. Payment Terms
Course fees are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current fees are RM 960 (Track 01), RM 1,410 (Track 02), and RM 1,870 (Track 03). Payment is required before access to course materials is granted.
Refund policy: If you withdraw before the course start date, a full refund minus processing fees will be issued. Withdrawal after the course start date but before Week 3 entitles you to a 50% refund. No refunds are issued after Week 3 has commenced.
Deferral: One deferral to the next available cohort intake may be requested before the course start date. Deferral requests submitted after the start date are subject to approval and may not be available in all circumstances.
8. Course-Specific Terms
- Completion of a course does not guarantee employment or career advancement
- Access to course recordings and materials is available for the duration of the enrolled track plus 90 days after its conclusion
- Alumni access (Track 03) is provided on a reasonable-use basis and may be withdrawn if misused
- We do not currently issue formal certificates of completion, though this may change in future intakes
9. Disclaimers
Courses are provided on an "as is" basis. While we take care to produce high-quality material, we make no warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose or specific career outcomes.
Nothing in our courses constitutes professional advice. Code examples and project templates are for educational use only.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tunas AI's total liability for any claim arising out of this Agreement shall not exceed the course fee paid by the affected learner for the specific course in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income or opportunity. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Tunas AI against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of course materials, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your course access if you breach this Agreement. In cases of serious misconduct, termination will be immediate and without refund.
You may discontinue participation at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Sections covering intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We encourage informal resolution first. If you have a concern, please contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 14 days.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: This Agreement constitutes the full agreement between you and Tunas AI.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without our written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected].
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For enrolled learners, material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
